Overlander’s RC6-VSR Charger is a firm favourite amongst our customers! This high performance 80W, 7A charger will give you rapid charge times in the safest and simplest way. No matter where you are, the AC/DC function of this charger allows you to charge your batteries in the field from a DC power supply as well as directly from the mains. This extremely versatile and compact charger gives everything you could need and more! With a wide range of chemistry options and charge rates this charger really is your go to.

Features

This charger monitors each lithium cell within your battery pack individually to ensure pack cells are 100% accurately balanced. This ensures the longetivity and safety of your batteries are always kept to the absolute maximum. The balancing ports are pre-built for easy connection. The VSR also has a built-in Internal Resistance monitor to help maintain the health of your batteries with ease.

This charger is designed with multiple built-in safety features such as: capacity limit, temperature limit, charge time limit, and an input capacity and voltage check. This charger has everything in place to guarantee maximum safety and eliminate the risk of user input errors. Furthermore, the automatic cooling fan will ensure the charger does not over-heat during the charging/discharging process.

This charger is supplied with a wide range of leads to allow the user to charge batteries with a variety of connector types, including: Deans, JR/Futaba and JST-BEC. Click “What’s In The Box” to see everything that is included.

Charging Process

Charging with the RC6-VSR is extremely easy! Within a few simple steps the charger is ready to do all the hard work for you. With the charger display visible you can easily see the status of the charge, monitor each individual cell reading and the amount of capacity that has been put into your battery pack. It will also show you how long the charge has been operating for. All charge functions automatically cut-off once the process is complete, minimising the risk of human error.

Introducing the Aerox BAT-SAFE !

Now available from Aerox is this super cool looking BAT-SAFE LiPo charging box.

All the great features from the original BAT-SAFE, but now with a more appealing design for serious racers.

LiPo batteries can be dangerous and the Aerox BAT-SAFE provides the safest experience over all others. Whether it will be storing, transporting or most importantly charging.

We highly recommend all LiPo batteries should be charged and stored in a Aerox BAT-SAFE box and not a LiPo bag.

Schumacher Racing are no longer selling LiPo Bags as we don’t believe they offer adequate LiPo fire protection.

The Aerox BAT-SAFE is a double-walled insulated steel box with a flame arrestor. Any battery within the specifications will not be a fire hazard if charged or stored inside the Aerox BAT-SAFE.

In case of a fire, the smoke and soot is also filtered by the flame arrestor.

Specification

You can charge and store up to 2 pcs of 3S 2200mAh equivalent (50Wh) safely inside the Aerox BAT-SAFE MINI.

Do not exceed the manufacturers recommendation for maximum 50Wh for charging.

So using the example below a 2S (7.4v) 6700mAh LiPo is the largest battery that can be charged in a BAT-SAFE MINI.
