Lead ship of the Kent Class of County-type British WW2 heavy cruisers. Laid down in November 1924, launched in March 1926 and completed in June 1928. Motto ‘Invicta’ (unconquered). Received Battle Honours for Atlantic, Mediterranean and Arctic operations. Survived into post-war reserve and broken up in early 1948.

HMS Ark Royal 1939 (kit).

Ark Royal Class Fleet Aircraft Carrier of World War II, built by Cammell Laird at Birkenhead, completed in late 1938. Battle honours included Norway 1940, Mediterranean 1940/41, Bismarck 1941, Malta convoys 1941. Struck by torpedo on 13/11/41, Ark Royal sank the next day despite efforts to keep her afloat.
